Retablos are traditionally painted to invoke the special powers of a particular saint or symbol. The Winged Heart is a universal symbol that brings confidence, hope, courage, and comfort. It is a symbol for the power of love and free spirits.

Georgia is the founder of GEORGI∆ ELECTR∆ Studio and ELECTR∆ Gallery. She holds an MFA from the California College of the Arts and has been an artist for over 25 years. She is adept with many different media and makes artwork for healing and spiritual growth. She learned to paint retablos from her neighbor, Theresa Vigil Montoya of Chimayo, who has been painting traditional New Mexican retablos for over 40 years.
