The spiral symbol can be found throughout the world in every culture from antiquity to the present, and has been a fascinating subject for contemporary artists as well! In this workshop we'll look at the ways the spiral is used in art and where it occurs in nature. We'll tap into the energetic power of the spiral through guided drawing and painting exercises, and make some beautiful paintings! This potent workshop that will open up the energy of the spiral for all who attend!

Georgia Carbone is a Painter, Tarot reader, and Reiki healer. She received her MFA from the California College of the Arts and has been an artist for over 25 years. She paints with watercolor, acrylic and oil and focuses on themes of energy, healing and spiritual experience. She is the owner of GEORGI∆ ELECTR∆ Metaphysical Art Space and ELECTR∆ Gallery

Materials you will need:
Watercolor paint
Selection of watercolor brushes
Cold press watercolor paper
Paper towel or cloth for blotting
Cup or Jar of water for cleaning brushes (recommend 2,one for cleaning brushes, one for fresh water
Watercolor palette for mixing colors
notepad and pen
Recommended: Eyedropper
